Junior Chamber International (JCI) is a non-profit international non-governmental organization of young people founded in 1915. It encourages young people to become responsible citizens and to participate in efforts towards social and economic development, and international co-operation, good-will and understanding. The JCI mission is to provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change.

The Cedar Rapids Jaycees are pleased to announce their 2019 scholarship program. Two scholarships will be awarded this spring and include, one, $1,000 scholarship to a selected high school graduate as well as, one, $1,000 scholarship to a continuing education student, current college student, or a non-traditional student. All applications must be received by April 1st, 2019 and recipients will be announced on May 1st, 2019.
**Please note, the scholarship check will be sent directly to the college you will be attending to be applied directly to your student account.
