Ariel joined the Cedar Valley Jaycees in 2014 where she served as the Director of Community Development. She transferred to the Cedar Rapids Jaycees in the summer of 2016 and then stepped in as Vice President of Membership to finish out the 2016 year. She will serve as Vice President of Membership for 2017. Ariel will also be a Director for the a Festival of Trees 2017.
Ariel currently works for Target as a Hardlines Brand Team Member. When she is not working and volunteering her time for the Jaycees, she spends time playing softball and taking her dogs to the local dog parks. She currently resides in Cedar Rapids with her boyfriend Jordan, who is also a Jaycee member, and their two dogs Oakley and Nala.
Felicia has been a member of the Cedar Rapids Jaycees since 2016. She also holds membersh as an Ambassador for the Iowa City Chamber of Commerce.
Felicia is employed with NXT Bank at their Coralville location since 2016. She started as a teller but has recently been promoted to Personal Banker. She enjoys assisting customers and businesses with their financial needs offered by NXT Bank.
Chris has been a member of the Cedar Rapids Jaycees since 2014. He has previously served as Vice President (2015) and President (2016) for Cedar Rapids and Black Region Director (2015) and Membership Director (2016) and is a current JCI Iowa Vice President. Chris was a recipient of the 2015 R. Bradley Trafton Award by JCI USA. The R. Bradley Trafton Award is awarded to the top 10 state officers from across the country. Chris has also received the Presidential Medallion of Honor by JCI USA for making a difference and his outstanding commitment in our organization for 2016.
Chris works as a sales representative for Marketing Focus based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Marketing Focus works exclusively with Menards, the third largest hardware and home center in the country. Marketing Focus works closely with store team members by using hands-on retail knowledge and experience to help manufacturers flourish in the industry as well as conducting training's at their monthly department meetings and corporate training's at Menards General Office.
Jordan has been a member of the Cedar Rapids Jaycees since February of 2015. He has previously served as the 2016 Uptown Friday Nights Director.
Jordan currently works as a computer aided design drafter for Alliant Energy, and an assistant volleyball coach for Precision One Volleyball. In his free time, Jordan enjoys playing volleyball, spending time with his friends and family, and going on adventures with his puppy Baxter.
Sarah has been a member of the Cedar Rapids Jaycees since 2015.

Mindi has been a member of the Cedar Rapids Jaycees since 2014 and served as a Vice President and the Secretary in 2015. In the past, she has co-chaired Run-Punt-Pass and Toys for Tots. She will serve as the President and co-chair the 2017 scholarship committee.
Mindi works as an Accountant for Kirkwood Community College and The Hotel at Kirkwood Center. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at the Catherine McAuley Center and other local non-profits. She resides in Cedar Rapids and enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
The President shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the Cedar Rapids Jaycees. The President shall call and preside over all meetings of the membership and the Board, appoint all standing committees and special committees (subject to Board approval) and exercise general supervision over the affairs of the chapter and perform other duties as are incidental to the office and prescribed by the Board or Bylaws. The President shall cast the deciding vote on any matter of the chapter or board of directors resulting in a tie. The President shall be an ex-officio member of all committees of the Cedar Rapids Jaycees. The Executive Vice-President, All Vice-Presidents, the Treasurer, the Secretary, the Legal Counsel, and other Presidential appointments may report to the President.
Linda Whittington has been a Jaycees member since 2016. Linda is currently serving on the following committees: Junior Jaycees Committee, Scholarship Committee, and Uptown Friday Nights Committee.
Linda works for Dupaco Credit Union in Community Education and Outreach. In her free time she enjoys taking her dogs Kookie and Kahlua for walks. She also enjoys going wine trailing.
Ashley has been a member of the Cedar Rapids Jaycees since 2015. She has previously served as Treasurer (2016). Ashley is also the co-chair of the 2017 Scholarship Committee.
Ashley works as a CPA at Deloitte & Touche LLP in Cedar Rapids, IA. She primarily serves the Aerospace and Defense industry. In her free time, she likes to volunteer, work out and sketch.
The Executive Vice-President shall be a member of the Board with full voting power. The Executive Vice-President shall assume direct authority over certain aspects of chapter administration as delegated by the president and shall assume duties as directed by the Board of Directors or the President, including but not limited to the following duties:
The Board of Directors is made up of eight Officers. These Officers are elected by the General Membership each fall. Officers serve one-year terms, which start January 1st. The Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing aspects of the chapter such as:
Officers typically meet once a month for Board Meetings to vote on matters pertaining to the organization. General Members may attend Board Meetings, but only Officers are allowed to vote.
